Value Ambassadors

Our Values Ambassadors – Pupil Leadership

Each November sees classes elect their two Values Ambassadors for the year to coincide with UK Parliament Week. The Values Ambassadors are chosen as role models for showing the school values and to represent their classes at regular meetings with staff to share ideas on school improvement.

Values Ambassador recommendations and actions included:

  • ideas on how to support newly arrived pupils, particularly those with English as an additional language
  • investigation into the possibility of a space for prayer for older pupils
  • feedback to the kitchen team on how school meals could be improved
  • contributing to updating the school pupil friendly anti-bullying policy

The Values Ambassadors are working on a newsletter to share more details about the work that they are doing. Below are the Year 6 Designs for the Values Ambassador Logo. As a part of their Enquiry “How do we all live together?” the year group designed logos to accompany their manifestos for election. The best logos have been submitted for judging by Lottie Suki a local graphic designer with the winning design developed into a professional logo.
